Sid Vicious, właśc. John Simon Ritchie – angielski muzyk, najbardziej znany w latach 1977–1978 jako basista punk rockowego zespołu Sex Pistols. Vicious dołączył do grupy w 1977 roku w zastępstwie za Glena Matlocka.
W trakcie swojej kariery muzycznej był uzależniony od heroiny, przez co Sex Pistols miało problemy z nagraniem swojego debiutanckiego albumu – w rezultacie Vicious na basie gra tylko w jednej piosence. Jego partnerką była Nancy Spungen, z którą związek także opierał się w dużej mierze na narkotykach. W październiku 1978 roku Spungen została odnaleziona martwa w pokoju hotelowym w Chelsea na Manhattanie, a Vicious został oskarżony o jej zamordowanie. Za kaucją opuścił więzienie 1 lutego 1979 roku.
Sid Vicious zmarł 2 lutego 1979 roku z powodu przedawkowania heroiny, a jego ciało zostało odnalezione rano. Po kremacji jego ciała matka Sida znalazła list pożegnalny, co wskazywałoby na to, że Vicious planował popełnić samobójstwo. Jego prochy zostały rozsypane nad grobem Spungen.
