Problem nie leży w szczerości przekonań kaznodziejów i pisarzy religijnych, ale w samych założeniach, na których bezkrytycznie opierają swą działalność. Umysłowość religijna naszych czasów rzadko wykazuje skłonność do krytycznej analizy problemów naprawdę ważnych. Wygodnie nam z naszymi nawykami i zaściankowymi niechęciami, lecz czy aby nie nazbyt łatwo godzimy się na dwuznaczności, które Ewangelie i Prorocy każą nam bezkompromisowo odrzucać.”
