Jeffrey Lynne est un auteur-compositeur-interprète, guitariste et producteur britannique né le 30 décembre 1947 à Birmingham. Il est le leader du groupe rock Electric Light Orchestra, qui connaît un énorme succès international dans les années 1970 et début des années 1980. Depuis le milieu des années 1980, il se consacre principalement à ses activités de producteur, et travaille notamment avec Tom Petty ou les ex-Beatles Ringo Starr, George Harrison, et Paul McCartney.
