Piper Laurie − amerykańska aktorka filmowa i teatralna.
Urodziła się w Detroit w żydowskiej rodzinie. Ojciec był emigrantem z Polski, zajmował się sprzedażą mebli, matka pochodziła z Rosji. W młodości przeprowadziła się do Los Angeles. Gdy miała siedemnaście lat, podpisała kontrakt z Universal Studios. Debiutowała w filmie w 1950 roku. Niezadowolona z otrzymywanych ofert, przeniosła się do Nowego Jorku, gdzie występowała w programach telewizyjnych. W 1961 roku powróciła do Hollywood i wystąpiła u boku Paula Newmana w Bilardziście. Piper Laurie w tym filmie wcieliła się w postać Sarah Packard; rola ta przyniosła jej nominację do Oscara w kategorii "najlepsza aktorka pierwszoplanowa".
