whatever mesmerizing thing you were saying.”

“You look lousy,"Simon said.

“Day before yesterday I saw a rabbit, and yesterday a deer, and today, you.”

“Its three in the morning,' she noted with dismay. 'Do you think Simon’s all right?'
'I think he‘s weird, actually,' said Jace. 'Though that has little to do with time.”

“I wake up thinking of yesterday. The joy is in remembering; the pain is in knowing it was yesterday.”
