“If you want to think what nobody else thinks, ask a question that nobody else asks.”
Segment 8
Peoples Archive interview
Context: I was asking questions which nobody else had asked before, because nobody else had actually looked at certain structures. Therefore, as I will tell, the advent of the computer, not as a computer but as a drawing machine, was for me a major event in my life. That's why I was motivated to participate in the birth of computer graphics, because for me computer graphics was a way of extending my hand, extending it and being able to draw things which my hand by itself, and the hands of nobody else before, would not have been able to represent.
“If you want to think what nobody else thinks, ask a question that nobody else asks.”
“All I got is dreams. Nobody else believes. Nobody else can see. Nobody else but me.”

Context: I was heading for the fantastic lights. No doubt about it. Could it be that I was being deceived? Not likely. I don't think I had enough imagination to be deceived; had no false hope, either. I'd come from a long ways off and had started from a long ways down. But now destiny was about to manifest itself. I felt like it was looking right at me and nobody else.
