Langston Hughes est un poète, nouvelliste, dramaturge et éditorialiste américain du XXe siècle. Sa renommée est due en grande partie à son implication dans le mouvement culturel communément appelé Renaissance de Harlem qui a secoué Harlem dans les années 1920.
