Marie Catherine Colvin was a British/American journalist who worked as a foreign affairs correspondent for the British newspaper The Sunday Times from 1985 until her death. She died while covering the siege of Homs in Syria.
After her death, Stony Brook University established the Marie Colvin Center for International Reporting in her honor.
