Liu has starred as Ling Woo in the television series Ally McBeal , Alex Munday in two Charlie's Angels films , and Joan Watson in the crime-drama series Elementary . Her film work includes starring in Payback , Shanghai Noon , Chicago , Kill Bill: Volume 1 , Lucky Number Slevin , Watching the Detectives , The Man with the Iron Fists , and Set It Up .

She voice acted as Master Viper in the Kung Fu Panda franchise and Silvermist in the Tinker Bell series . Her other voice credits include Maya & Miguel , Mulan II , as well as the English and Mandarin-dubbed versions of Magic Wonderland and The Tale of the Princess Kaguya .
