Erika Girardi , known professionally as Erika Jayne, is an American singer, songwriter, author, actress and television personality. Raised in Atlanta, Erika Jayne performed in various singing and dancing musical theater plays as a child. She came to prominence with the release of her debut single "Roller Coaster", which topped the US Billboard Dance Club Songs chart in 2007; it was included on her debut studio album Pretty Mess in 2009. She gained further recognition with the singles “Give You Everything” with her music video of the same song directed by Marty Thomas, and "Get It Tonight" featuring Flo Rida, "Painkillr", "Xxpen$ive" and "How Many Fucks", which topped the dance club charts. Erika Jayne has attained nine number-one songs on the Dance Club Songs chart as of 2018. In 2016, Billboard ranked her number 42 on their list of greatest dance club artist of all time and number 3 on their list of the Next Big Sound.Girardi launched her film and television career as an actress in the early 1990s, playing small roles on Law & Order and High Incident. In 2015, Girardi became a full-time cast member on the sixth season of the reality television series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, followed by her role on the competition series Dancing with the Stars in 2017. She has played a recurring role as real estate agent Farrah Dubose on the American television soap opera The Young and the Restless. Girardi was the co-host of the red carpet pre-shows of The 2017 Grammy Awards, 2018 Billboard Music Awards and 2018 American Music Awards.In 2018, Girardi released her book Pretty Mess, which became a New York Times Best Seller. She has been the face of brands such as ShoeDazzle, Too Faced Cosmetics, and BeautyBlender. She is also known for her philanthropic work and social activism, including LGBTQ rights.
