“New Zealand interviewer: What's it like for you guys, has it been "sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll", that stuff?
Josh: Six drugs? There's been more than that!
[All laugh]
Josh: I need to hear that question again, I'm sorry.
Dave Grohl: Why? That was the best answer you could possibly have given!
[Laughter continues]
Josh: I wake up in the middle of stuff, sometimes. 'Cause of my condition, y'know.
New Zealand interviewer: Which is?
Josh: I'm a badass.”

“When did you get all insightful?" he asked.
"I have no idea," Josh admitted.
"I don't like it."
"Me, either. Makes me feel like a girl. Don't tell anyone."

“Oh, Mr. Wolff, what do you think of Balzac? "
Josh politely ceased to masticate, swallowed and answered,
" I never trade them Curb stocks!”

“Yeah, I've been writing a bunch of new stuff, but it's all secret. In fact, I may or may not have been writing stuff this entire interview.”

“Sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll is easy. True christianity…that's rebellion.”

“I would say it was about time that you believe in something. And sex and drugs and rock 'n' roll ain't it…. A lot of people used to think they were.”

“Jane Whitney: You go way beyond sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll in your performances: you self-mutilate on stage.”

“"Would you like to go to New Zealand to do a commercial?" That's the sort of question an actor likes to hear from his agent in freezing mid -January.”

The example I would use is, if you're driving in your car and you're listening to a rock 'n' roll station on the radio and a song comes on, and in the song you hear elements of jazz and folk and you hear strings in there … it's not necessary to answer the question, "Is this jazz, is this folk, or is this rock?"”
