Magnus waved a hand. “All Lightwoods look the same to me.”

“Hey," said Jace. who was sitting on an overturned speaker, looking at his cellphone, "do you want to see a photo of Alec and Magnus in Berlin?"
"Not really," said Simon.
"Magnus is wearing lederhosen."
"And yet, still no.”

“I don't care who her mother is," Magnus said. "You can't see me with out an appointment. Come back later. Next March would be good,"
"March?" Sebastian looked horrified.
"You're right," Magnus said, "Too rainy. How about June?”

“Someday," Magnus said, looking at the crumpled royal person at his feet, "I must write my memoirs.”

“Picture this," said Magnus. "Me with a little monkey friend. I could teach him tricks. I could dress him in a cunning jacket. He could look just like me! But more monkey-shaped.”

“Will stared down at his hands. "My whole life wrecked, destroyed…"
