Sandra Bullock [ˈsændɹə ˈbʊlək] est une actrice et productrice américaine, née le 26 juillet 1964 à Arlington .
Sa carrière décolle en 1994 grâce au succès du film d'action Speed, dans lequel elle donne la réplique à Keanu Reeves. Elle enchaîne avec le premier rôle du thriller Traque sur Internet et le premier rôle féminin du thriller Le Droit de tuer ? , elle tourne sans Keanu Reeves dans Speed 2 : Cap sur le danger , le film est un échec au box office.
Cependant, elle reste tête d'affiche grâce à des comédies romantiques : L'Amour à tout prix , avec Bill Pullman, Le Temps d'aimer , aux côtés de Chris O'Donnell, Ainsi va la vie , avec Harry Connick Jr., Un vent de folie , avec Ben Affleck, Miss Détective , L'Amour sans préavis , face au spécialiste du genre Hugh Grant, et La Proposition , où elle domine Ryan Reynolds.
