Ryūnosuke Akutagawa , né le 1er mars 1892 à Tokyo et mort le 24 juillet 1927 à Tokyo, est un écrivain japonais. Principalement auteur de nouvelles, des textes tels que Gruau d'Ignames , Dans le fourré et Figures infernales sont inspirées des recueils de contes Konjaku monogatari shu et Uji Shui monogatari. Il a aussi écrit des histoires pour enfants notamment Le fil d'araignée et To Shishun.

Il a aussi comme nom d'artiste Chôkôdôshujin et nom de poète Gaki . Wikipedia
