Kazuo Ishiguro , né le 8 novembre 1954 à Nagasaki, est un écrivain, romancier et scénariste britannique d'origine japonaise.
Le 5 octobre 2017, il obtient le prix Nobel de littérature car « il a révélé, dans des romans d’une grande force émotionnelle, l’abîme sous l’illusion que nous avons de notre relation au monde », selon l'explication de l'Académie suédoise.
