Il revêt actuellement la fonction de président du groupe Fiat Chrysler Automobiles

et de PDG d’Exor, la société d’investissements contrôlée par la famille Agnelli. Exor est l’une des plus grandes sociétés d’investissements européennes. Exor contrôle également l’équipe de football turinoise de Serie A, le club mythique Juventus F.C.
