Indro Montanelli citations

Indro Montanelli, né le 22 avril 1909 à Fucecchio en Toscane et mort le 22 juillet 2001 à Milan, est un écrivain, historien, journaliste et patron de presse italien.

D'abord chroniqueur fort célèbre au Corriere della Sera, Montanelli fonde en 1974 le quotidien Il Giornale qu'il dirige pendant vingt ans. Il est notamment l'auteur d'un best-seller : un roman situé à l'époque de la Résistance italienne et inspiré d'une histoire authentique, Il generale della Rovere. Le livre a été adapté au cinéma par Roberto Rossellini en 1959 sous le titre Le Général Della Rovere. Le film a obtenu le Lion d'or du festival de Venise. Wikipedia
