Teri Lynn Hatcher is an American actress, writer, presenter, singer, and former NFL cheerleader. She is known for portraying Lois Lane on the ABC series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman , as Paris Carver in the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies, and as Susan Mayer on the television series Desperate Housewives , for which she won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, and a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
