Sanju Viswanath Samson is an Indian international cricketer who plays for Kerala in domestic cricket and captains Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League. He is a right-handed batsman and a wicketkeeper. He was the vice-captain of the India under-19 team for the 2014 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, 2013 Top End Under-19 Series in Australia and 2013 ACC Under-19 Asia cup. He won the Best Young Player award in the 2013 Indian Premier League.Sanju was included in the Indian squad for the limited-overs matches in the 2014 tour of England. He debuted in international cricket against Zimbabwe at Harare, on July 19, 2015. Sanju scored an unbeaten 212 in 2019-20 Vijay Hazare Trophy in the sixth instance when an Indian scored a double-century in List A cricket which is also the second fastest double ton in List A cricket.
