Níkosz Kazandzákisz görög regényíró, költő, drámaíró és gondolkodó. 1964-ben vált széles körben ismertté, amikor Michael Kakojannisz megfilmesítette Zorbász, a görög című regényét. A legtöbbet fordított görög írók egyike. Nemcsak irodalmi görög, de hazai krétai görög nyelven is írt. Wikipedia
