Mathangi "Maya" Arulpragasam , ismertebb nevén M.I.A. egy brit rapper, énekesnő és vizuális előadó. 2004-ben vált ismertté Sunshowers és Galang című dalaival, melyek az Egyesült Királyságban és Kanadában értek el jelentős helyezéseket, illetve a Billboard Hot Dance Singles Sales listán 12. lett.
