William Henry "Bill" Cosby amerikai humorista, stand-upos, színész.Híres humoráról, filmekben és tévéműsorokban elvállalt többnyire komikus szerepeiről. 1962-ben lépett be a stand-up comedy világába, akkor kezdte el ezt a műfajt űzni, és máig sikeres is benne. Cosby rajzfilmsorozatokat is készített, és szerepelt bennük . Mind a két rajzfilmje sikeres lett, a Fat Albertet a CBS sugározta, míg a Kicsi Billt a Nickelodeon/Nick Jr. tűzte műsorára. Bill vígjátéksorozatokat is kreált . Ezek is nagyon sikeresek lettek, a Cosby Show-nak "spin-off"-ja is lett, Different World címmel.

Felesége Camille Hanks Cosby, 5 gyerekük született.
