Aleister Crowley , Master Therion. Angol okkultista, mágus, író, költő és hegymászó. Fontos tagja volt több okkult szervezetnek, többek között az Arany Hajnal , az Argenteum Astrum és az Ordo Templi Orientis társaságoknak. Leginkább mágikus írásai révén vált ismertté, főként a Liber AL vel Legis - A Törvény Könyve cíművel, mely a Thelema szent írása. Már életében hírhedtté vált, a világ leggonoszabb embere címmel illették s gyakran vált a média támadásainak célpontjává.
