Swami Vivekananda , né le 12 janvier 1863 à Calcutta et mort le 4 juillet 1902 à Belur Math au Bengale-Occidental , est un philosophe et maître spirituel qui a fait connaître l'hindouisme au monde occidental et a inspiré le mouvement pour l'indépendance de l'Inde.
