Samir Geagea citations

Samir Geagea , né le 25 octobre 1952, à Ain-el-Remmaneh , est un ancien chef de milice et homme politique libanais. Il est marié à Sethrida Tawk. Pendant la guerre civile libanaise, il est très proche de Bachir Gemayel, chef de la milice des Forces libanaises ; il lui succède quand Bachir est assassiné en 1982. Son rôle pendant le conflit est très controversé: accusé de nombreux crimes, dont les assassinats du premier ministre Rachid Karamé et du chef de milice chrétien Tony Frangié, il est jugé après la guerre dans des conditions inéquitables. Il passe 11 ans en prison entre 1994 et 2005 avant de reprendre une place dans la vie politique libanaise. Wikipedia
