Ramana Maharshi est un jñāna-yogin et guru indien de l'Advaita Vedānta, né le 30 décembre 1879 sous le nom de Venkataramana Aiyer et mort le 14 avril 1950. Son enseignement, dans la tradition de la non-dualité, est essentiellement centré sur la notion du Soi et la question « Qui suis-je ? ». De nombreux hindous le considèrent comme un saint et son rayonnement en Occident fut considérable.
