Larry Dean Harvey est un artiste et activiste américain, qui fut en 1986, avec son ami Jerry James, le cofondateur d’une fête rituelle appelée Burning Man, et l’un des cinq cofondateurs des deux événements qui allaient plus tard fusionner pour former le festival Burning Man, désigné aussi par le nom de Black Rock City, lequel se tient chaque année depuis 1990 à la fin du mois d’août en plein désert du Nevada.
