Joan Alexandra Molinsky, plus connue sous le nom de Joan Rivers, est une actrice et animatrice de télévision américaine, née le 8 juin 1933 à New York et morte le 4 septembre 2014 dans la même ville.

Joan Rivers commence sa carrière d'actrice dans des productions Off-Broadway. Elle écrit un spectacle de stand-up qu'elle joue dans les clubs. À partir de 1965, elle est invitée régulièrement dans The Tonight Show de Johnny Carson, où elle se fait connaître du public. En 1986, elle présente son propre talk-show, The Late Show , rapidement retiré de l'antenne par Fox Network.
