Irena Sendler citations

Irena Sendler , de son nom de jeune fille Irena Krzyżanowska, née le 15 février 1910 à Varsovie et morte le 12 mai 2008 dans la même ville, est une catholique, résistante et une militante polonaise qui sauva 2 500 enfants juifs du ghetto de Varsovie durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.

Irena Sendler commença à sauver des vies bien avant la fondation de l'organisation Żegota. Elle est déclarée Juste parmi les nations en 1965. Wikipedia
