George Müller , né le 27 septembre 1805 à Kroppenstedt en Prusse et décédé le 10 mars 1898 à Bristol en Angleterre, est un évangéliste chrétien appartenant aux Assemblées de Frères , et directeur de l'orphelinat d'Ashley Down à Bristol. Selon sa propre autobiographie, il a, au cours de sa vie, pris en charge plus de 10 000 orphelins. Il s'est fait connaître pour avoir fourni une excellente éducation aux enfants confiés à sa garde, au point d'être accusé d'élever les pauvres au-dessus de leur situation naturelle dans la vie. Il a également créé 117 écoles qui ont offert une éducation chrétienne à plus de 120 000 enfants dont un grand nombre d'orphelins. Wikipedia
