Diana Spencer citations

Diana Spencer, dite Lady Di, née le 1er juillet 1961 à Sandringham et morte le 31 août 1997 à Paris, est une aristocrate anglaise, membre de la famille royale britannique.

Elle épouse en 1981 Charles, prince de Galles, avec qui elle a deux enfants : William, en 1982, et Henry, en 1984. Son mariage tumultueux avec le prince Charles prend fin avec leur divorce, en 1996.

En raison de l'intérêt médiatique qu'elle suscite, notamment du fait de sa détresse émotionnelle, elle est une des femmes les plus célèbres du monde de la fin du XXe siècle. Elle est également une figure emblématique mondiale de la cause humanitaire : elle crée et s'engage dans plusieurs associations pour défendre des causes telles que la défense des enfants, la lutte contre le sida, les mines antipersonnel et le cancer.

Sa mort lors d'un accident de voiture dans un tunnel de la capitale française, à l'âge de 36 ans, suscite une émotion internationale. Wikipedia
