His writings are largely occupied with trivial points of etiquette, and his main concern is to teach people how to behave correctly on various occasions. Victory comes in proportion as fear is banished. Perhaps the battle may be won with some fear still handicapping the victor, but that only means that the winner's maximal strength was not required.”
